MS Office Forum / Outlook / Contacts / March 2004Exporting Contacts
When I try to export my contacts to an excel spreadsheet I get the response "cannot start the required translator, this feature is not currently installed." I am unable to find the translator anywhere on the Windows XP disks that came with my computer. Does anyone know where I can download the software? Also, I tried to export my contact list to a backup file but cannot open this .pst file. What software do I need when it asks for a program to open it with and where can I get it? Thank you for your help. You will need your MS Office install disks. Reinstall Office with Add/Remove features and ensure that the appropriate import/export filters are installed for Outlook.
