Duplicate Entries

I have many, many duplicate entries in my contact
section.  I think they may be the result of
synchronization with my PDQ, which uses Windows CE.  I am
set up to synchronize in one direction, from my desktop
to the handheld device.

Does anyone else have this problem, and a possible
solution to prevent it from happeing?  Also is there a
utility to find and delete duplicate entries.  I have
over 1,000 contacts so doing it manually is a chore
(which I have done), but they come back.  At one time I
had a program for my old PDA (a Palm) called De-Dupe,
which eliminated duplicates on the handheld.  Is there
such a thing for Outlook 2002?

Any help would be appreciated.

For utilities, see http://www.slipstick.com/addins/contacts.htm#dupes. For prevention, check with the maker of your synchronization software.
