I am trying to send a set of email to a group of contacts
using BCC, but want to avoid having my name pop-up in the
TO column - is there a way around this.  Thanks.

You need to put something in To. Either use your own name, set up a mailing list alias at Yahoo or somewhere, use a dummy address, etc.

Or do a merge to email using Word so each person gets an individual message addressed directly to them.
