Oops. I guess I wasn't very clear
I have a list of 85 contacts that are in one category in my address book, which contains 275 contacts total. All I ever do is email the entire group, or that category. I don't need to see each of these 85 contacts when I look at the contacts information; I just need to save it as the one group of 85 names
Also, I want to synchronize with my phone, and I don't need to put those 85 names on my phone. How can I excise them from the address book when I synchronize
Thanks in advance!
I see.
Well, in theory, you can create a Distribution List. DL's can contain
information that does not otherwise reside in your Contacts Folder. However,
Most of us have found DL's to be pretty buggy and unreliable.
A better option might be to create separate Contacts subfolders instead of
Categories. Most synchronization software will only synchronize your main
Contact Folder, so subfolders won't show up in your phone. You can compare
the use of Contact Subfolders VS Categories here:
