Hello,

We have an Exchange Server hosted offsite and are using
Microsoft Outlook bundled with Office XP.  Is it possible
to have the my server contacts offline, shared to other co-
workers so we can be looking at the same contact list, and
if there are any changes made while offline it will be
synched when connected back on line.  Can this be done or
is there another approach to this?
Thank you

Don't know about XP, but I expect the behaviour to be similar to 2000 that I
am using. Under Public folders you will find Favorites and All public
folders. In this last one your share contacts is being shared. Copy this
shared contacts folder to your Favorites folder, and set it to apear on- and
offline (right click, properties). Changes made under the contacts in
Favorites are immediately synchronised with the one under All public when
online. When offline, the synchronisation takes place when logging on again
to the network

Can you do this using the user's contact under the
Exchange Server but not using the Public Folders Contacts?
