Yesterday I suddenly woke up to an outlook (running on XP
Professional) that had no contacts in it.  It comes up
also with an error message saying that it cant find
the .pst file.  True enough when i go to the outlook
folder everything is there other than a pst file.
I have subsequently hooked up the blackberry who has said
that there is no difference in my contacts to what is on
the blackberry- ie all 330 contacts are still appearing
in my outlook contacts.
Odd but I cant find them nor see them nor find a pst file.
No one has access to my computer and I didnt delete any
pst file.
Also when i got into contacts and save a new person it
will save them quite happily but when i go back into
contacts it still remains empty.

Any suggestions anyone?  Frustrating as the computer is
freezing up on this issue.

Search your hard drive for *.pst. Enable the search for hidden files. Open
each in Outlook until you find your data.
This simply can't happen for no reason.
