I'm using act ver 6 and the my act contacts are in Outlook, there is even an
Act tab in email options. Perhaps this is because of tighter integration of
the newer version, or you may need to tell act to use outlook as it's email
system in the edit, preferences, email setup portion of Act. You can still
use outlook.

You should also be able to export act, as text delimited, then import to
Outlook, or you may have to do it to excel first, then export as tab or
comma delimited file, then import to outlook
