I have recently purchased and installed Office 2003 with
the Business Contact Manager. Since installing the
software, the BCM fails to start about every three or
four times I launch Outlook.
I have detected and repaired Outlook and reinstalled
BCM...Any ideas?

Try in new outlook profile and with a new data base.
