The autocomplete feature in outlook 2003 doesn't
automatically populate addresses from my ldap server, I
have to wait for a couple seconds to a minute and then
right click for multiple listing. Unlike Netscape mail --
it populates and you type(this is not a cached list)it
comes directly(instantly)from our ldap server.

Is this possible ???? help

The autocomplete doesn't populate addresses for *any* address list.
Autocomplete works from the .nk2 cache of people you have sent messages to,
not from your address lists.

Hi ;¬

I've upgraded 2000 client to Outlook 2003 still running wondows 2000
OS. Aft
er the upgrade this function worked fine but it only keeps for a day
once lo
gged off it does not remember the names mailed the the day before. I've
turn
ed the option on and off but still no joy. Does the .nk2 file exist
running
2k, if so location ?
Under the Exchange server settings does the option, Use Cached Exchange
Mode
ticked or unticked have any affect on this ?

Many thanks
Patrick
