I also notice that the format is 97-2002, if that helps.
If I were you I'd create a new profile (Control Panel | Mail | Show
Profiles), which will cause Outlook 2003 to create a new .PST file in the
new Unicode format (the one that's not 97-2002). Then I'd open the old .PST
file using File | Open | Outlook Data File and copy the important items from
the old file to the new. Creating a new profile often solves Outlook
problems, especially if the old profile was used with previous versions of
Outlook, and perhaps the new .PST will work better as well. The only
drawback is you won't be able to use the new .PST with older versions of
Outlook -- hopefully that won't be a factor for you, and if it is, you can
always create yet another .PST in the old format and copy data back to it.

Must have been a glitch in the news server or with your newsreader...it came
up fine here :-) I'll repeat it...

.pst Proglems - 05 Aug 2004 15:59 GMT
I seem to have muddled through. Still have a couple of
problems, one of them probably minor, the other needs to
be fixed.
The minor problem is that on the navigation pain other
personal folder appear that I'd like to remove. When I
got to Data File Management, thay don't appear on the
list there, just my new contact.pst and an archive.
On a more serious note, when I try to "find" a contact,
it can't find it. Can't find any, although they're there.
Any suggestions?
Thanks for you help so far.
