MS Office Forum / Outlook / Contacts / August 2004lost contacts
I have been using 2003 trial version that came on my new computer. When the trial period was up, I decided not buy it, so i used the add and remove to remove it. After installing my 2000 version, everything works ok except I lost all my contacts. How can I recove them. Thanks for your help. They're not in the Contacts folder? Did you simply open your .PST file in Outlook using File | Open (which is the preferred method for making sure everything comes through intact) or did you import from it (a good way to lose data)? I had microsoft outlook 2000. when i upgraded to windows xp, it overwrote my old microsoft outlook contacts file and i lost years worth of business contactcs info. i think that contact list, the original one, is in my computer somewhere, i would like to retieve it, how can i do that? >-----Original Message----- >They're not in the Contacts folder?
