I have been unable to perform the mail merge function.
Each time I try, I get a msg that reads: "No default
client or current mail client cannot fulfill msg
request.  Please run microsoft office outlook and set it
as the default mail client".  I have performed that
function to no avail.  I continue to get the message.
Any ideas?

Try using INternet Explorer's Tools | Internet Options | PRograms dialog to
set the default mailer. If that doesn't fix it, report back with information
on your OUtlook version.
