what folder are addresses kept in

I recently had a hard drive failure.  I have a portion of the hard drive working.  What type of file are they and where would they be located.

Also, where would my emails me kept?

All of your Outlook data (mail, contacts, appointments, tasks, etc.) are
stored in a file with a .PST extension.  Look here for all the information
you need on backup and restoration of Outlook data:
