Cannot use Outlook contact addresses in Word

I am using Office XP and I cannot get address from
Outlook "contacts" to show up in my Word envelope
program. It only shows the contact with email addresses.
I have checked everything I know to check. Any
suggestions? This is a single envelope - not mass merge.

my experience is that Contacts must have an email address to make the link
to Word work. Dunno why - it's just one of those things that may be too
technical for me to understand.
