I've used both ACT and Outlook alot. Each has strengths and weaknesses,
depending on what you are trying to do with them. Can you fill us in on how
you are using ACT? For example:
1. Are you running in a shared environment?
2. Do you regularly run reports? If so, which ones?
3. Do you track sales in ACT?
4. Does everyone track customer interactions in ACT?
5. Have you customized any of the ACT fields, dropdowns, or screens? If so,
how?
6. Mail merges? To email or printed out?
And so on...

Forgive me for replying to my own message, but maybe we could start more
simply:
* what features of ACT do you like the most and use the most? Why?
* why features of ACT do you dislike the most? Why?
* why are you thinking of switching to Outlook (or anything else)?

It is worthless w/out the capability to be tailored to my
business. If anyone knows of a way, PLEASE email me.
Thanks!
