Greetings,

I'm completely puzzled with this. Hope someone can help
me out.

I have exported/imported my Contacts through a PST file
several times on different occassions on different
machines.

For this most recent attempt I have imported my
contacts.pst to Outlook 2002 running on XP Pro.  When I
click on the Contacts short-cut I can see all of my
entries (including emails), edit them, read them, etc..

However, when I compose an email and use the "Check
Names" button, none of my contacts are recognized.
Additionally if I open up my Address Book, it's
completely empty. (I've tried Show Names from the:
Outlook Address Book as well as Contacts).

Has anyone seen anything like this before?  Any
suggestions. Not sure what to do next.

If you have Contacts in the Contacts folder but they are not accessible when
you click on the To button, check these settings:

Make sure the Contact folder is enabled as an email address book. Right
click the Contacts folder, choose Properties then Outlook Address Book. Is
the box to enable as email address book is checked?
