Merging contact names in group e-mails

Is there any way that the user can insert merge codes into an e-mail
message, when e-mailing a distribution group, so that the name of the
receiver can be inserted (merged) into the salutation of each individual
e-mail?  If so, how might we insert this information along with other
contact information, such as address or phone, where desired?  We would
appreciate any help.

Sincerely,

Richard Wilkinson

With a contacts folder, yes, using Word mail merge. With a DL, no, unless
you use a third-party mass mail tool that supports Outlook DLs.
