Making a Contact Private in Outlook 2003

How do you make a contact private in Outlook 2003?

Check the Private box at the lower right corner of the contact form.

Since changing to Outlook 2003 there is no box in the
lower right corner ...how do I make it appear?

What do you see in the lower right corner next to the Categories box? Do you
have a scroll bar on the botton of the screen?
