I would like to create a mailmerge to a list of Outlook contacts and
also send them a pdf attachment with it.
One method, of course, is to write an e-mail using my specialised
e-mail stationery, add the attachment and then send it to all the
intended recipients using the BCC field.
This is a little inelegant as I want to personalise it a bit more such
as inserting a Dear..... field as in Word or perhaps where there's an
info@theircompany.com type of address I could automatically put "For
the Attention of:....". That sort of thing.
Therefore, my next alternative is to create a mailmerge using Outlook
contacts, automatically opening Word and sending it as an e-mail - and
all done through Outlook 2002. Neat!
The big "Ah, yes, but..." is that I cannot also send the pdf
attachment with each merged message. Or can I because I've missed
something in the process?
Regards

Not possible with Office. You'd need a third-party mass mail tool; see

Thanks for the advice, Sue.
Followed your link and downloaded eMailMerge 4Outlook for a trial run.
Seems to do what is required.
