Cleaning up Outlook Contacts - Fields Omitted

I exported my whole Outlook 2002 Contacts to a dbase file,
and cleaned them up. But to import it back to Contacts,
Outlook omits several fields - the email address and the
work phone number. These are useful fields for me. I also
converted the dbase file to Excel and tried to import from
Excel with the same results.
Am I doing something wrong?

I just went through this whole exercise and finally
figured it out.
I exported the contacts to an excel file.
Cleaned up the contacts.
Copied the header line to line 3, AFTER the first contact
which was in line 2.
Imported the xls and mapped line 3 to the outlook fields
and imported.
then deleted the bogus contact.
There appears to be a bug in outlook that prevents the
header line appearing during import, which is why I
duplicated the header to another line.
Hope this helps
Ian
