Need to do a regular import from Access 2002 DB table to
Contacts folder in Outlook 2002.  Maintaining Contacts in
Outlook for department access; file-as selected
is "Company (Last-Name, First-Name)" for ease of
visibility & reference for Outlook-challenged majority of
department.  Maintaining updates in DB; not experienced in
export & don't trust it at this point.

When importing, address cards default to "Last-Name, First-
Name", so have to re-open and re-save file-as 400+
contacts back to "Company (Last-Name, First-Name)".  Tried
to customize view but only option seems to be to drop name
from title bar.

Do I need to add a new field to DB, using logicals to
create equivalent to "Company (Last-Name, First-Name)",
and use in import?  If yes, what to link to in import
process? (File-as not listed as field available to link
to, that I've noticed)  Any simpler solution?  Would it be
better to try to maintain revisions in Outlook & export?
I had a lot of trouble exporting previously, so am
reluctant to head this way...

GREATLY appreciate any help with this!!

Just change the "default" for <file as> in Outlook - go to:
        Tools --> Options  --> Preferences --> Contact Options -->
               - on that page choose the Default order you want to use from
the list selected
