This question has been asked before without an  answer.

Whe  I installed Outlook 2002 - I only saved or backed up my old Outlook.pst
file from OUTLOOK 2000.

So I don't have a PAB file.

So now  although  I have a list of addresses in CONTACTS.   If I use a new
OUTLOOK.pst file then you can't just  copy the CONTACTS folder  across.
Dragging them a cross is  too laborious.

Thanks in advance

Your conjecture is untrue. You can simply reuse the same PST file. Tell us
what makes you think you can't.
