I have microsoft XP and outlook 2003.  I have my client
list in contacts and set "flags" next to the names that
appear in a "reminders" window at the appropriate times.
I know that there is no way for these "reminders" to
appear on my pocket pc when I sync up, but i was
wondering if there was a way to transfer
these "reminders" to my outlook calender so that they
could then be synchronized with my pocket pc?

Only if you write your own code to create appointments when the reminders
fire. You can see how to trap the reminder event when it fires at
