VCard Import-Save Problem(vcf.DEFANGED-2210)

When others send me their Vcards in Outlook the file comes
across with an added extension of "vcf.DEFANGED-XXXX"

When I try to open or save the vcard, I receive a message
from Outlook indicating "Windows cannot open this
file 'John Doe.vcf.DEFANGED-XXX'"

It appears that the vcard file may have a virus(or I may
have one on my PC) - Does anyone know what the problem is
and fix for this issue?

Thanks,
John

Try saving the file to your hard drive with the extension .vcf, then opening
it. A vCard file cannot have a virus, because it's just a text file.
