Distribution List from Subfolder

I'm using Outlook2000. I created a subfolder under
Contacts. Now I want to create a distribution list from
that subfolder, but when I go to "New Distribution List" I
am only offered the contents of Contacts to choose from.
The subfolder isn't listed. How can I create a
distribution list from the subfolder (or send email to
everyone in the subfolder, but to no one in Contacts?)

I posted this yesterday but it never showed up.

You just forgot to enable the subfolder as an email address book in its
properties.

Thank you! (I had no idea I needed to do that).
