How do I move a contact in outlook to a business contact?

I have imported a list of contacts from Outlook 2000 into Outlook 2003.  Can
I upgrade select contacts to be business contacts?

Yes, just move or copy them into the Business Contacts folder.

FYI, there is a separate newsgroup for BCM issues --
