Is there a way to replace an e-mail address within a
contact without loosing the link to the e-mails sent to
and recieved from the contact.  I would keep the old e-
mail address if I could disable it so e-mails are not
longer sent to that address.

Keep the old address. There's no need to remove it. Just don't send to it.

Thanks for the reply.  Sounds like this is my only
option.  I like to use the "New Message to Contact" action
when sending to one or many contacts.  Is there a way to
set this up so it only sends to the primary e-mail address
or will it always send to all e-mail addresses?

That command will always send to all email addresses. You'd have to delete
the one you want to omit.
