Losing some contacts on a DL

Outlook 2000 on WinXP.  I have several distribution lists
set up and some of them are losing some of their members
for no apparent reason.  For example, I send out a message
to a distribution list one week and all members receive
the message.  Then say a week or so later I send out
another message to the same list and some but not all of
the members are not included in the list.  I could really
use some help here on this.  Thanks for any responses.

Common problem. No solution. DL's are so buggy most of us don't use them.
