ok...windows automatic update updated my computer with the above and
so..what did it do with my  address book (contacts) and the folder histories
in the outlook express????? how and fromwhere do i retrieve them??? have
very important information in the local folders sub directories, as pay
utilties on line and keep info in folders in the e-mail program. HELP!! I
don't have ANY of my contacts addresses!

pS.. the only deleted essage in the deleted folder is from somone i don't
know and dated 11/08/2003 which if it was mine  it would have been
peranently deleted by now. thanks

never mind.. finally found the old wap and dbx files using the Explorer
search and imported them back into the new outlook v6
