Please help me to export 800 contacts plus 5 distribution groups from
contacts in outlook 2003 to outlook 2002 (Office XP Pro). I can export the
contacts to a .pst file OK, but Office XP Pro will not import it (English
language only!). Says it is not recognised or wrong version. I can't find
anywhere (web or help file) a way to "save as" file type "outlook '97 > 2002"

Create a New PST file.
That is the only way to get the option to choose "Outlook 98-2002" format.
Copy your Contacts into this PST file.
This is just one more example of why exporting is never the correct way to
transfer Outlook data from one installation to another.
