I've had to reformat my computer but before I did, tried
to find the contacts and addresses I had in my Outlook
2002. I had a hard time doing this since my Outlook was
corrupt so I found
C:\ProgramFiles\CommonFiles\System\Mapi\1033 and copied
this to the CD. My question is how do I get this off the
backup and in my contacts? I've tried doing the import
function using comma delimited in both DOS and Windows
and neither one works as I saved it in "1033".
Any advice is certainly appreciated!

It might help if you told us what files were in the folder you copied.

Your contacts unfortunately where not store there
They are stored in your pst file in
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook
