i'm attempting to share my contact list at work
(OL2000/WINNT) with my Home PC (OL2000/WINXP) before
sharing it with other users.  I'm doing this so i can test
it and understand how this works before giving permission
to others to use my contact list from work.  I should note
that I don't have administrator rights at work.  I don't
think that matters, i could be wrong.

I sent the permission (editor) from work to home via
internet; accepted it at home and it automatically created
the folders in OL at home; but the contact information
from work has not appeared in the folders at home.  how
can i get my work contacts to appear in the folders
created at home before giving others permission to access
my contacts?  TY for your time.

This sounds like you're using the Net Folders feature, not Exchange public
folders or mailbox folder sharing. That may be appropriate (although
unreliable, as you've already seen -- see
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/netfolders.htm for more info), but it is
not the technique you'd use at work in an Exchange organization.
