I have and an old contact list from outlook 2000 located somewhere on a
remote drive but  I cannot seem to locate it or access it.
Can someone tell me what it is called and how to open it.

Your outlook data will be in a file with a PST extenstion. You need to find
the file, copy it to your computer and then open it using Microsoft Outlook.

In Outlook:
Click File-Open-Outlook Data File

If you are using Windows XP, most likely this file is
hidden. You need to go to Explorer select the remote
drive then go to Tools|Folder Options|View and check show
hidden files. Search for the file call Outlook.pst. All
your emails and address book are in this file. Therefore
before copying this file to your current Outlook
directory, back-up your current Outlook.pst file.

Shld you need further help, pls do not hesitate to e-mail
me.
