MS Office Forum / Outlook / Contacts / September 2004Can't add new contacts
When I go to add a New Contact I get an error message saying "The messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem persists, restart Outlook." I have restarted hundreds of times and have also downloaded "Outlook 2002 Update: December 4, 20025.0.2919.6304" Please help as it is very frustrating not being able to add New Contacts. Note: The same applies to Calender. Thanks Darren Darren, I've got the same problem except mine is just in Contacts & is Outlook 2003. I've tied all the updates, I think it started with XL SP2. What operating system are you using?
