Display of Contacts

I am using Office 2003.  When I display my contact list it
show double contacts for thoes contacts that I have
enterted a Fax number for.  I cna I tur off the desplay of
contacts that show a fax number ( fax type ) and just
display thoes that show (type SMTP) email.

If i deleate the fax number then I only get one display.  
I want to keep the fax number in their contact information
but not display it as a seperate contact listing, when I
click on contacts.

The standard behavior for the Outlook Address book is to display all
electronic addresses (both fax and e-mail). That behavior cannot be changed.
The only way to prevent the display of fax numbers is to store them in a
different field or to disguise them (e.g., precede them with an alpha
character) so that Outlook won't recognize them as phone numbers.
There are also a number of utilities available that can do this for you
automatically. Some are listed here:
