Hello,

I have read every possible question and answer related to importing contacts
from Excel to Outlook but have not seen the following question:  on the
worksheet, I select every single cell that I want to be exported to Outlook,
but, however I do it, the first contact, may it be on the first, second or
third line, never gets exported.

How can that be?

Your helpful hint will be most appreciated!

Thank you.

Your description is a little confusing.

Are you saying that only the first contact within the series is not being
imported regardless of where it's located? That doesn't make any sense.

When using Excel - highlight every row you want to import including the
first row which would contain the field (column) names. Assign that entire
area a single "named range". Import the file into Outlook.

If you want to avoid the issue of "named ranges" then simply save the file
in .CSV format and import that file instead. Both methods work equally well.
