Exporting contacts in Outlook 2003

Hi,
I am using MS Office 2003 on Windows 2000 Professional platform. I started
to have a problem just recently when I try and export my contacts.
When I click file -> Import/Export -> Export to a File, Outlook just hangs
for half a minute and closes down. I am not sure what is happening. I have
tried to repair Office and have also reinstalled the whole suite but am still
having the same problem. I have checked my colleagues pc's, both XP and 2000
Pro, but they dont seem to have this problem.
Has anyone encountered this problem and could someone please guide me to
eliminate this. Its getting really frustrating.

Try exporting to different formats. Does this get around the problem? It
may be that instead of Outlook/Office being corrupted, your data is. Other
formats may allow the export even though there is corruption. If only some
of the data exports, assume that the first record that doesn't export is the
problem. Delete it in Outlook and try again.
