I am trying to backup my contacts to floppy in outlook
2000. Outlook is not my default email program yet. Just
now setting it up.  Still using OE6.
But when in Outlook 2000, in address book, under file,
the import/ export buttons are not active. Does Outlook
have to be the default email program for it to work
properly?
Using Win XP home, IE6, Office 2000 Outlook.
Thanks,
Tony.

Contacts reside in your Contacts Folder, not the address book. There you
will find an Export function.
