I am using Outlook 2003 and trying to do a e-mail merge document.  I can go
all the way through the process, but when I get to the last step; 'complete
the merge" I run into a problem.   When the box pops up to merge to e-mail 1)
I select the e-mail address variable, 2) eneter a subject, 3) select HTML and
4) select all my records.  I then get a pop up error code: "Logon failed.
You must log on to MS Exchange to access your address book".

I am a single user, so I do not have a MS Exchange server to log into.  When
I selected the e-mail addresses from my list I thought that would insert the
e-mail addresses into the e-mail merge process.

That message usually means that you default Outlook profile is not
configured correctly as the default mail program or does not include a
functional mail transport and the Outlook Address Book.
