I used to work off a Compaq laptop that has no burner or
floppy drive (no way to get info off computer other than
email).  I just got a desktop computer.

Is there any way to export my archived emails and contacts
and attach them in an email so that I can download them
onto the desktop?  I've exported them to a .pst file, but
Outlook won't let me attach it to an email.  Same thing
with my contacts export - won't let me attach.  I get the
message "operation failed".

I'm using Outlook Office XP; windows me on the desktop,
and 98 on the laptop.

Any ideas?  Thanks much!

Darcie:  I was able to attach a pst just fine.  Have you
tried faking the system out by renaming before attaching?
Or zipping the pst?
