how do i file contacts into alphabetical order within their cat...

how can i file my contacts into alphabetical ordaer within their different
catagories?
i can do it but it gets rid of the catagories. i want to keep the catagories
in place but have the contacts  in alpahbeticla order.
can anyone help?

I think you have 2003 - would be easier of you posted those details next
time!

Here's the solution.  Use the Detailed or Simple List view, show the columns
you want to see (field chooser), click the column (eg Last Name) you want to
sort by, THEN use the group by box to group by Category.  That should have
alphabetical as well as the grouping.

I've been training people in the past 4 versions of Outlook, 2003 is
annoying many users with this change!!!!

Is there any hope of Microsoft fixing this problem with Outlook 2003?  All of
the other Sort by's work just fine like by Company or by Location.  Only the
by Category seems to be messed up on this.
