I saved the csv files of separate lists. I then created
distribution lists, and saved them to a CD as well.

When I drag the distribution lists into Contacts, they
show up fine. But when sending an e-mail using this
Distribution List, it tells me I need at least 1 recipient
in a distribution list.

All names show up -what am I doing wrong??

I have never seen a DL survive a transfer. They are far too fragile for
that.
How exactly did you save and transfer this DL?
