Greetings one and all

I am running Outlook 2003 with SP1 installed (Window XP Pro + SP2 (error
predates SP2 application))
A couple of days ago I tried to delete an entry in the Contacts folder but
received the following error message, "The messaging interface has returned
an error. If the problem persists, restart Outlook."
Of course it persists, so I restart Outlook and ... it STILL persists !!
I have been able to delete some older entries but most return this error
when I try to delete them ... even emptying the field so that I end up with
a blank contact doesn't help ... I still cannot remove the entry !
Have run the repair and detect without success !

Any help, suggestions, guidance or words of wisdom would be most welcome.

Thanks in anticipation.
