We are using outlook 2003 set up for a POP3 server. We
exported the contacts out of outlook express into a tab
delaminated exces file. Then we imported from that
same
file into contacts in outlook 2003. When you open
contacts in outlook everything is there, including e-
mail
addresses all in the correct locations etc. However,
when you click "new" to send an e-mail, then "to" to
select a recipient, there aren't any contacts to
select,
just as if none of the contacts had e-mail addresses
listed.
I have verified that the e-mail addresses were correct,
and that they were resolved in contact records. I have
found that there are no other lists in the "show names
from drop down menu. I have also manualy entered a new
contact with information that I know is correct, but when
you start a new e-mail, and click on "to" to pull an
address from contacts, the list is blank as if you don't
have any contacts with e-mail addresses.
Any ideas?

Are you sure this Contacts Folder has been enabled as an email address book
in its properties?
