When composing a new e-mail I select the drop down list of addressees. The addressees are listed by first names in alphabetical order. I want to see them listed by last name in alphabetical order. This is possible in Outlook 2000. Can and how can this be set in Outlook 2003 mail? Go to Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing directories or address books > Outlook Address Book > Change. > Set your sort order there  SignatureRuss Valentine [MVP-Outlook] > When composing a new e-mail I select the drop down list > of addressees.
