HELP - Contact Management

Hi,

Using Outlook 2000 and wish to use it as a contact
management program.  For example, enter client
information, then keep track of upcoming calls or visits,
set reminders, keep short notes on results of calls.

I have tried linking the contact to an entry in the
Calendar, plus linking it to a Task entry.

However, I'm not sure which is best, plus the field, such
as Company Name doesn't seem to be able to be added as a
column in either the Calendar or Tasks - if I add the
field from the Field Chooser, it remains empty - not
looking at the Company name from the Contact folder.

I want something simple - would even have used Excel, but
want the reminders, plus like having everything in one
place.

Any solutions or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Any folder view shows only the data in that folder, even though Outlook lets
you think otherwise by allowing you to add fields from different types of
items in the folder. You can accomplish what you want, however, with a
little custom VBA code that adds the desired data to the ***items*** in a
particular folder. For an example, see
