You've provided no information.
List the precise steps you are using and your Outlook version.

Sorry, this is the first time using this service and I wasn't sure what to do.

I would like to export a contact group from Outlook 2003 to a program for
real estate agents called Top Producer. When I called Top Producer tech.
support they told me to use the "file" drop down menu and go to
"import/export". I do not see "import/export" along with a couple other items
(I compared my options to my friends Outlook 2003 options). I hope this is
enough info. to get things started. Thank you, Jenae

It's right where they said it was in every installation of Outlook I've ever
seen.
In the File menu.
I assume you are using Outlook 2003.
I assume you are trying to export from the Contacts Folder and not the
Address Book.
I have no idea what you mean by "group" since Outlook does not use groups.

As I previously mentioned I am using Outlook 2003. By group I mean
Distribution List and finally I found a way to get around the issue of
import/export not showing up under the file drop down by customizing my tool
bar and adding the import/export the the tool bar.

Odd. It's there by default in every installation I've seen. I wonder how
yours got lost.

I am a REALTOR looking to get away from TP. I want to start using Outlook
and am having trouble with importing from a ASII file that TP formats. I
wonder if there is a way like in ACT to customize the import???
