Hi,

Any one tried to import/export contact or between MS Outlook and Outlook Express?

Thanks

No, but importing from Excel spreadsheet is DISASTROUS.
Approx 30 rows input = 24 valid contacts + 32k (yes,
32,000) blank entries. Took 20 MINUTES to delete!

Sue, with all due respect, the issue isn't Excel but the parameters that
were set for it. Using Excel worksheets to import into Outlook using
Outlook's own import function works exactly as advertised as long as
everything is set correctly (from your description - suspect the problem was
that the "named range" wasn't set properly).

There are a lot of things that Outlook doesn't do well or doesn't do at all
but this isn't one of them (excluding the issue of custom fields) if you
follow the rules (but will also readily admit - those rules can become a
massive pain and challenge at times).

Export to a format that OE can import, such as CSV.

Thanks for the advice, I finally did export as CSV format from MS Outlook
then import into Outlook Express, I think the only format that works for
import /export between this applications

It's the only one I've found.
