Explain your configuration more clearly. Are you sure you're even talking
about Outlook here? If so what version?
You can place several email accounts in a single Outlook profile. All will
use the same Contacts. Define what you mean by email account. Perhaps that
is the term that is confusing us.

Yes I am talking about Outlook. I am running Outlook 2003. When I open
contacts, in the left column are the 3 contact lists that are in "My
Contacts" Specifically, it gives me the contacts in both of my msn
mailboxes, in addition to a general Contacts list. Below that I have the
option of opening "shared contacts"
I have 2 email addresses on my MSN account. I can view my MSN and Verizon
messages in Outlook

We still need a more complete description of your setup. How did you create
this profile? What mail account types are these?
Outlook does not create separate Contact Folders normally. Are you trying to
Use Outlook only for hotmail accounts? That would have been important to
know. If so, I'll let someone else answer. I don't use Outlook for hotmail.
