how do I restore my contact list?

I had to fix the email account because we were having trouble sending and
receiving email. I changed the delivery of the new email location from
archive to personal and now I cannot find the contact list. Did this have
anything to do with that. Can you help me restore my contact list?

You mean your default delivery location was set to your archive folder? Why?
Post your Outlook version.
Post how you "fixed" it.
List the number of Outlook Data Files and Contact folders you have in your
current profile.
